Anxiety can make tomorrow feel heavy before it even arrives.
Your mind begins rehearsing conversations that have not happened, solving problems that do not exist yet, and preparing for outcomes you cannot control.
God does not ask you to carry all of that alone.
One Quote
“Anxiety doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
Worry consumes the strength you need for the day in front of you. God invites you to give Him the fears you say aloud and the ones you keep to yourself.
You may not receive every answer today. You can still release what is beyond your control to the One who already knows what tomorrow holds.
One Bible Verse
“Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”
— 1 Peter 5:7
God’s invitation is personal. He wants your worries because He cares about you.
One Prayer
God, You see every anxious thought I’m carrying right now. You know the fears I say out loud and the fears I keep to myself.
Thank You for caring enough to invite me to cast all my anxiety on You. Help me be honest about what I’m carrying and show me what I can place in Your hands today.
Give me strength where anxiety has been draining me. Be my peace today.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
I’m in your corner.
Gene
