Feeling Overwhelmed? God Is Not Finished With You
Some days, everything feels unfinished.
There are decisions you have not made, problems you have not solved, and parts of your life that do not look the way you hoped they would.
It is easy to interpret that unfinished work as failure. But God does not abandon what He begins.
One Quote
“You don’t have to earn what God has already given.”
— Gene Lytle
God’s love is not a reward for getting everything right.
You do not need to prove that you are worthy of His attention. You do not need to have your future figured out before you come to Him.
You can show up exactly as you are: uncertain, tired, overwhelmed, or still finding your way.
One Bible Verse
“Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
— Philippians 1:6
Your life may feel unfinished because it is unfinished.
That does not mean God has stopped working. The process you are in is not evidence that He has forgotten you. It may be evidence that He is still shaping something you cannot see yet.
One Prayer
God, I confess that I spend too much energy trying to earn approval from people, and sometimes even from You.
Help me rest in the truth that I am already accepted and already loved. Remind me that I do not have to perform for Your attention.
Give me the courage to show up today and trust You with everything that remains unfinished.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
I’m in your corner.
Gene
