You plan every possible outcome, replay every decision, and search for an answer that will make you feel secure again.
Sometimes the answer does not come immediately. Trust can still begin before understanding does.

God, there are things in my life that I cannot fix, change, or control. Honestly, that is frightening.
Help me loosen my grip and trust that none of this has surprised You. Remind me that You are working even when I cannot see it.
I surrender what I have been holding too tightly. Please lead me through what comes next.
